The Alighty Ollar
So, the Herald Sun are running a well-timed follow-up article about the irresponsible mother letting her brat roll off a railway platform into the path of a train:
BRAVE Melbourne schoolboy Aaron Dryden has been revealed as the shy hero who pulled a tiny baby from under a train at Ashburton station.
Aaron, 18, told Woman’s Day how he crawled under the train after six-month-old Saurish Verma’s pram toppled from the platform.
..
The Verma family were chased by international TV stars such as Oprah Winfrey and Ellen DeGeneres to speak about their ordeal.
But they chose to sell their miraculous tale to Woman’s Day and Channel Nine’s A Current Affair.
The magazine is on sale today and the family will appear on ACA tonight.
Ok, that’s nice. But a week ago the Herald Sun gave us this:
Pram v train bub dad tells of anguish over accident that shocked the world
THE family of the baby hit by a Melbourne train has spoken publicly for the first time, revealing its anguish over the accident that has shocked the world.
…
He said the dramatic CCTV footage being watched by millions – it shows his six-month-old son’s pram roll into the path of a 250 tonne train – was a great source of stress for his wife.
“My wife has seen the footage, but every time she sees it she gets very upset,” the man, who asked not to be identified, said.
“My wife is very stressed. We are all OK – my wife and my baby are OK – but we really just need some time to get over this.”
…
Nothing like a nice, big, fat cheque to help relieve the stress, eh?
Moneygrubbing cunts.

I try to do as many stupid things as possible in the vain hope that one day I will be rewarded.
I have an empty bottle of lube here. Want that?
“… has been revealed as the shy hero …”
Doesn’t take much to be a hero these days.
Shy hero? Blabbing to the media about your antics negates the whole “shy” angle.
Fuck this whole thing.
I fucking cringed when I sighted this crap on A.C.A. that I quickly changed the channel. I normally cringe when that crappy show is on anyway.
