I started writing this one the other night and for whatever reason forgot to finish it. Might’ve been too busy jerking off over internet pr0n.
The Age are running a story about Jetstar and one of their staff members:

Jetstar has suspended a gate attendant who allegedly abused a female passenger and had her thrown off a flight and apologised for the airline’s “unacceptable” response to the woman’s complaint.
Mesha Sendyk was removed from a Sydney to Gold Coast flight earlier this month for allegedly shouting at a gate attendant and getting on the plane without a boarding pass .
Ms Sendyk, 42, complained to the airline, alleging she was abused by the staff member in front of her six-year-old daughter and had her boarding pass snatched away during a highly-charged exchange with the man.
The airline’s customer care manager responded to Ms Sendyk’s complaint with an offer to refund her airfare, an accusation she behaved in an “unruly, disruptive or violent” manner and a threat to ban the Byron Bay-based artist from all Jetstar services in future.
But two days after the incident came to light, a senior airline executive phoned Ms Sendyk to tell her the gate attendant had been stood down.

Now, I wasn’t there when this incident supposedly went down, and it seems to me that it is nothing more than a he-said she-said thing. But what I am going to do is speculate and suggest that this bitch was the one in the wrong.
If the customer care manager had threatened to ban her from flying with the airline, it’s quite fucking likely that there was a damn good reason for this position to be taken. Either CCTV was viewed, witness statements were read or she herself admitted it in her own goddam letter of complaint. These companies have an image to protect and they aren’t going to tell you to fuck right off without damn good reason.
I’m guessing at some point some high-paid fucker in Jetstar realised what a complete PR clusterfuck it would be, so they took the line that the staff member had been stood down and an apology given. I have $500 and my left ball to say that the employee in question hasn’t been stood down and is, in fact, still working.
Taking a look at her website, Sendyk claims that she is an artist.
Now, forgive me if I’m being a total fucking uneducated Neanderthal here, but isn’t art supposed to be something of substance? Not just a white canvas with large black letters on it or a shitload of paint thrown about the place?
If the complete fucking shit that she is churning out is indeed considered art, then I’m going to have a shot at it:

Anyway, to get to the point of this rant I suggest that this Sendyk slut receive a swift fucking kick right to the cunt to bring her back into line. I’d volunteer to do it myself, but I don’t think I’d get my shoe back.
For shits and giggles, you can read her letter of complaint to Jetstar. In it she claims to be a psychologist. I claim she’s just a psycho bitch.
Well I hope she sticks with Jetstar as I’m not keen on being on a Virgin flight.
The other point is she’s on a fucking budget airline. You don’t expect dick-sucking treatment when you only pay for a handjob.

PS: B. Sc (Psych) = she has an undergrad Science degree with a Psych major. You need a minimum after that of Honours and Masters to be registered with the APS.
Ergo, she’s not a Psychologist. She’d need a further Hons, M.A. after her name for that.

I think what this proves, however, is that those people with letters after their name are fuckstains with a massive sense of entitlement.
Also, this: If she’s so fucking awesome with her “degrees” and all that shit, why is she pissfarting around with paint and canvas?
Her website says all she has is the B. Sc (Psych) at USQ. So, I did some digging and guess what? I’m right and Mesha is full of shit.
From the USQ website:
“Requirements for initial registration are the completion of four years of approved training – such as completing the BSc (Honours) at USQ or elsewhere. In addition there is a requirement to complete two years of supervised practice after initial registration. Alternatively an approved Masters Coursework program (such as the MPSH at USQ) can be undertaken. For more information contact the Registration Board.”
Also of note:
“It is illegal to use the title psychologist, or to represent yourself in any way which leads people to believe you are a psychologist without being registered. Heavy penalties apply for breaches.”

Ouch!
A few points for you to consider.
1. JetStar have removed this staff member from their airline because there have been many complaints about him. It is likely that no reporter from the SMH witnessed the other events and they therefore did not receive media coverage. It is also likely that very few people would actually want to open themselves to the kinds of commentary you feel entitled to make.
2. The customer care manager who wrote the original letter which escalated this issue to the public realm had only been working for Jet Star for one month and used a standardized letter format without contacting me to investigate the incident. My letter was never meant for your perusal and was an in situ report, not an edited article for publication.
3. I paid $199 for my flight, which I didn’t think was so “budget” for a one hour flight.
4. When I was at uni the whole issue of the term “Psychologist” was under review by the APA, as was the requirement for a two year period of supervision etc.,. I did not choose to continue my membership with the APA after I left uni. It was not compulsory.
5. As you have noted, I paint, exhibit my work and publish art books designed to help other artists. If you don’t like my work, that is your right, as it is mine to make it.
6. I hope you will never have to experience the same degradation I have encountered with JetStar (and this is now less likely). I also hope, should you ever be in a similar situation, you don’t have to suffer the ugliness of the public lambasting you feel so entitled to deliver.
